Emergency Service Updates - Staff

This page provides updates on the delivery of our services during emergency events.

Endeavour Foundation has emergency procedures to keep people we support safe during extreme weather conditions, COVID-19 outbreaks and other unexpected events.

You can return to this page at any time to find the latest information about our response to emergencies and the impact on the services you access.

We are committed to responding quickly during emergencies and follow the guidance and advice of the Australian and State Governments to keep the people we support, their family and carers safe and well informed.

With the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine now underway across Australia, we will also provide regular information about the vaccination program and what that means for the people we support, their family and carers.

The health and wellbeing of the people we support, and our staff is of the highest priority at Endeavour Foundation, and we will always act in a manner that ensures their safety.

Latest Update

2nd March 2022: Update on flood affected services

Our thoughts are with staff who are affected by ongoing flooding.

Thank you to everyone who is stepping up to help with roster changes due to flood impacts.

Please keep off the roads where possible.

Most services will be open again as usual tomorrow, Wednesday 2 March. All in-home and residential services will continue as usual.

Learning and Lifestyle hubs listed below will be reopening tomorrow 3 March 2022:

Learning and Lifestyle hubs

  • Kingston L&L
  • Redcliffe L&L

The only services which remain closed until further notice are:

  • Gympie
  • Maryborough
  • Windsor

Business Solutions sites

  • Gympie
  • Maryborough

Community Solutions

  • All Wide Bay sites will remain remote servicing until the end of this week.
  • Pialba and Maryborough services will be reviewed on Friday 4 March.

Office based staff who are not in customer facing roles can return to the office if the roads are clear and it’s safe to do so (with the exception of Wide Bay CSG teams mentioned above). Please confirm your specific working arrangements with your leader.
