Online Safety Academy
Free interactive learning resources to help people with intellectual disability stay safe online.
How it works:
- There are 4 online learning modules that you can complete at your own pace, from the comfort of your own home.
- The program has been designed with accessibility in mind and includes animation, video content and text to speech activities.
To get started:
- Click on the "Free sign up" button above and you will be taken to a separate website to fill in your contact details.
You will learn:
- All about cyberbullying, including what it is and how to identify it to protect yourself online.
- What a scam is and how you can avoid them.
- What information you can safely share online.
- What you can safely click online - including social media, pop up ads and downloads.
- Your rights and responsibilities online.
- How the things you do online affect yourself, your community and your world.

Endeavour Foundation was awarded a Commonwealth grant to deliver, trial and implement an online safety education program that allows people with intellectual disability to improve their online safety skills and awareness, to safely navigate a digital environment.
By promoting the positive ways in which digital technologies can be used in at risk communities, we are enabling young Australians to navigate the tech future.
