Joanne:

He’s the most important thing in my life, the love of my life, I’d do anything to make him happy and this is… You know, he’s happy.

I was a little bit hesitant to start off with, those big burly rugby players but they’re all sweet as. Lochie’s got every one of them under his thumb.

He loves them. He was talking about this afternoon, football, John, and junior. He loves them.

I’m just so happy.

He can be like a normal kid. Run ‘round and you know, play football and yeah.

Sorry, when I’m talking about him I’m always looking at him.

When you think about it, what normal 16-year-old boy wouldn’t want to hang out with the Capras?

John:

He’s a real good kid, funny kid, and he plays with you a lot. He’s really smart, but he plays on that a lot.

They’re pretty flexible hours, they work around my football career so that’s real rewarding too. I’ve never done this sort of work before.

I’ve sort of done youth work but no work with disability.

It’s real rewarding when you put a smile on your customers faces or their families faces.

I’m making a difference in the community, so that’s pretty good.

I’m glad I can make my family proud and their family too.
