Whatever the solution, each of these new innovations give people with disability the opportunity to learn in a safe environment before trying out their new skills in the real world, or explore new creative and lifestyle opportunities.

Thrive @ Life - Looking after myself
This digital learning resource will enable people with intellectual disability to better learn skills to look after themselves in their daily lives. Skills focused on include personal hygiene, dental care, healthy mindsets, healthy life choices and healthy relationships.
Cost: $22,500
Thrive @ Life - Looking after my home
This digital learning resource will enable people with intellectual disability to better learn skills to look after their homes, and so enable them to leave full independent lives. Skills focused on include washing clothes, folding and ironing, vacuuming/sweeping the floor, making a bed, cleaning the bathroom and maintaining a cleaning kitchen.

Thrive @ Life - Living independently
This digital learning resource will enable people with intellectual disability to better learn skills needed to live structured, consistent lives that are conducive to independence in the day-to-day. Skills focused on include budgeting and money, going to the bank, cash handling and using an ATM, meal planning, shopping and living with other people.

Thrive @ Life - Lunch ideas
This digital learning resource will enable people with intellectual disability to better learn skills to maintain a healthy diet by focusing a variety of recipes suited to daytime meals. Skills being focused on will enable people with intellectual disability to safely use a home kitchen and fill their diet with a wide array of food options made with their own hands.

Thrive @ Life - Dinner ideas
This digital learning resource will enable people with intellectual disability to better learn skills to maintain a healthy diet. This resource focuses on a variety of recipes suited to daytime meals, how to safely use a home kitchen and to fill a diet with a wide array of food options (all made with their own hands).

Thrive @ Life - Technology
This digital learning resource will enable people with intellectual disability to better learn skills needed to safely and proficiently use contemporary technologies found in the home and in the workplace. The technologies, and associated skills, focused on include iPads, mobile (smart) phones, computers, 3D printers, robots (for coding) and the internet (how to protect yourself online).

Thrive @ Life - Stay ready for life
This digital learning resource will enable people with intellectual disability to learn skills to manage life's ups and downs, vastly increasing emotional resilience and adaptability in the face of sudden change. The life hurdles focused on include getting sick, dealing with disappointment and staying fit even when injured.

Thrive @ Life - Personal safety
This digital learning resource will enable people with intellectual disability to learn skills needed to keep safe in daily life, both in the home and out in the wider world. Skills focused on include first aid and medication basics, going to the doctors, pedestrian safety, train safety and taxi / rideshare safety.

Virtual Reality Learning - Highway driving
The Virtual Reality Highway Driving project builds on our current virtual reality learning to drive program for people with disability. This will be achieved through simulations of highway driving scenarios, to create familiarity.
Driving on highways can be nerve-racking, and the virtual learning environment provides real-world experience and practice that helps make a safe and smooth transition in this otherwise stressful scenario. The skills to be developed include planning the time to drive on the highway, lane choice, proper speed and distance, merging techniques, road signage and taking breaks/refreshing the driver.
