Stakes are high for Melbourne Cup fundraiser

08 September 2016

Dress to impress and join stylish socialites at the 2016 Endeavour Foundation Melbourne Cup Luncheon, and the odds are on an afternoon to remember.

Make a date for Tuesday 1 November at Moda Events Portside and enjoy a gourmet two-course meal with beer, wine, and soft drinks. Aside from the illustrious 'race that stops a nation' – screened live from Flemington throughout – guests will enjoy sweeps, raffles, a silent auction and photo booth. It wouldn’t be the Melbourne Cup, however, without fashions on the field, so be sure to show off with your best spring racing finery.

Andrew Thomas, Executive General Manager of Supporter Enterprises, said that the afternoon will be a ‘perfect combination of fun and philanthropy’.

“This event has sold out for the last three years running, so don't miss out on celebrating this great Australian occasion with family, friends, colleagues and clients.

“Crucially, funds raised will enable Endeavour Foundation to continue working alongside people with a disability, supporting them to pursue their individual aspirations. That might mean entering employment, living independently, or increasing community access. It’s a fantastic way to make a difference.”

Endeavour Foundation’s Melbourne Cup Luncheon will take place at Moda Events, Portside, Level 2 Portside Wharf, 39 Hercules Street, Hamilton from 11.30am to 3pm on Tuesday 1 November. Tickets are $125 per person or $1200 per table of 10 and can be purchased on the Endeavour Foundation Melbourne Cup website, by emailing events@endeavour.com.au or by calling 1800 63 40 40.
