Finding Love in Upper Coomera

14 November 2016

Never let it be said that Great Endeavour Rally enthusiasts lack romance, as team Fully Sikma ll prepare to bring local singles together under the mistletoe this Christmas.

Hosting a Singles Charity Ball at the Wattle Hotel in Upper Coomera on 17 December, Stephen Izzeard and Tyson Kadel are hopeful that seasonal generosity will help to deliver great outcomes all year round for people with a disability.

“We’re looking forward to a bit of fun and – hopefully – plenty of matchmaking! We’ll have lots happening, including a tradie auction, raffles, finger food and great live entertainment, and all for just $60 per person,” Stephen said.

“It’ll be a top night out, and all in support of a fantastic cause. We really appreciate the work that disability services provider Endeavour Foundation does in giving people with a disability the opportunity to get involved in their local community and access employment.”

Having rebuilt the original ‘Fully Sikma’ – following an eventful 2015 effort – the duo are preparing to unleash ‘Fully Sikma II’ during the 2017 rally.

“We’re really looking forward to this year’s Great Endeavour Rally – the camaraderie is what really makes it so special.

“After a bit of a false start in 2015, I hope our car finishes in one piece this time…”

Running from 9 – 17 June 2017, participants in the 2017 Great Endeavour Rally will have the holiday of a lifetime, experiencing eight days of picturesque Australian scenery and visiting remote destinations few others will ever see.

The Singles Charity Ball will take place at the Wattle Hotel in Upper Coomera from 6pm-10pm on 17 December. Tickets are $60 and are available by contacting Linda Izzeard on 0408 758 431.
