A little about us here at Maroochydore

At Maroochydore, we work as one.

We know starting a new job can be scary, so we’ve made the process as smooth and simple as possible.

You and your family will take a tour of the place and tell us what you need and want. After that, you'll have morning tea with the team before you start. Next, it's time to make a transition plan and get ready for your 13-week trial.

You'll get a lot of hands-on training when you start working here, so you can learn what to do. We'll check in regularly to make sure everything is going smoothly.

Every day at 10am, a food truck delivers wraps, salads, fruits, and pies. Love snacks? No problem. We’ve got vending machines aplenty.

Some of our employees drive or carpool to work, but we also have reliable and consistent transport to our site. There are buses from Nambour, Caloundra, and Maroochydore.

We are wheelchair accessible (but have no automatic doors).

What we do at this site

  • Document destruction (bin exchange & paper shredding)
  • Supply, collection, and destruction of bins
  • Decanting liquids
  • Labelling bottles (with and without machinery)
  • General packaging
  • General assembly

We’re looking for people who

  • Can use their hands, with good dexterity
  • Can sit for 2 hours at a time for document destruction (aside from using the bathroom, or getting water)
  • Can tolerate warm environments (otherwise would need to be in an airconditioned room)
