Christmas Closures
Learning and Lifestyle Hubs
Most Learning and Lifestyle Hubs will close over the Christmas period.
People we support who attend our hubs will need to make other arrangements during this time.
We will not charge bus levies, contract transport (to and from) or NDIS claims for support provided at our hubs while services are closed.

Social Enterprises, Defence Assistance Program (DAP) and Resource Recovery Centres (RRCs)
Many employment sites will close over the Christmas break, with the exception of Resource Recovery Centres (RRCs).
Workforce Australia and Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) sites will be closed from 2pm (local time) Wednesday 24 December and reopen on Friday 2 January 2026.

Home Services
In-Home Support will continue as normal. If the person you support is going away, please speak with their service manager about community access requirements over the break.
If the person you support with Supported Independent Living (SIL) will be away, please encourage their family or carer to advise the Home Site Supervisor (HSS) in writing as soon as possible. To assist, we can help with:
- Packing bags
- Ensuring medication supplies are adequate
- Arrange for rebates to be processed on food and laundry (for absences longer than seven days)
All rebates will be processed in January 2026.
Cannon Hill and Bokarina Offices
Our Cannon Hill (Brisbane) and Bokarina (Sunshine Coast) offices will remain open with limited staff throughout Christmas and New Year, closing for public holidays.
