How Funding Works

You can use your National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan for In-Home Support through: 

  • Core Supports: Assistance with Daily Living 
  • Core Supports: Social and Community Participation

Support can include cooking, personal care, getting ready for the day, shopping, cleaning, boosting independent living skills, attending appointments, using public transport and joining community activities. Support is tailored to your goals and routine.

No. In-Home Support is delivered where you currently live – your home, a place you rent or a home you share with others.

Yes. We aim to match you with support workers who align with your preferences, communication needs, cultural background and lifestyle. If the match is not right, we will help find someone who is.

You can use your plan through NDIS Core Supports – ‘Assistance with Daily Living’ and ‘Social and Community Participation’. Our team can explain how your funding works, help you plan your supports and make the most of any unspent funds before your plan review.
