Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

No experience is needed. We guide you through the entire process, from identifying suitable roles to onboarding and ongoing support. Our inclusion specialists work with your managers and teams to build confidence, share practical tools and ensure success.

Most employers tell us that after their first hire, the process becomes second nature, and they see positive results in team morale and retention almost immediately.

Inclusive hiring is not just socially responsible; it is commercially smart. Research shows employees with disability often remain in their jobs longer, have fewer unplanned absences and improve team culture.

You will also strengthen your organisation’s ESG profile, meet diversity and inclusion targets and improve customer and stakeholder perception by reflecting the communities you serve.

Yes. We offer flexible options to suit your business needs, including work trials, part-time roles or gradual onboarding. This approach allows you and the employee to ensure the role is the right fit before making a long-term commitment.

We also provide coaching and check-ins during the trial period to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Employers hiring through Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) may be eligible for wage subsidies of up to $10,000 per employee, depending on role type and eligibility.

We will handle all the paperwork with Services Australia, saving you time. Beyond financial incentives, you will also receive ongoing coaching, workplace training and access to advice on inclusive employment practices – all at no cost to your business.

If your business is based outside where we currently deliver the IEA program, we can still support you to create inclusive employment opportunities.

We partner with businesses across multiple states to offer a variety of employment options, including supported, hosted and open employment models.

We know that success relies on all parties feeling comfortable and confident. That is why we provide tailored inclusion training, communication guides and one-on-one coaching for supervisors and team members.

This creates understanding and reduces uncertainty, helping your team welcome new employees and celebrate diversity as a business strength.

If circumstances change or a placement is unsuitable, we review the situation quickly and collaboratively. We will explore adjustments, provide additional coaching or, if needed, identify another candidate who suits your workplace better.

Our focus is on long-term success: for you, your team and the employee.

With the right preparation and support, inclusive employment is low risk and high reward.

We manage all compliance, safety checks and assessments through IEA, and we stay connected after placement to ensure ongoing success.

Employers consistently report that the experience exceeds expectations and strengthens team engagement.

Yes. We regularly support employers who are recruiting across several sites or states. Our partnership model allows you to coordinate a multi-site hiring strategy with one point of contact, while our local teams deliver recruitment and support on the ground.

Whether you need one new team member or 50, we can tailor a workforce plan that fits your business growth.

You will have a dedicated Account Manager who acts as your single point of contact. They will provide regular updates on candidates, timelines and next steps and will stay in touch even after placement.

We also offer post-placement reports and check-ins so you can easily track outcomes and measure success across your sites.
