Endeavour Foundation Industries (EFI) at Mt Druitt is an Australian Disability Enterprise providing supported employment services to individuals with disability. The site offers a range of industrial services including:
- Food packaging
- General packaging
- Food and product manufacturing
- Warehousing
- General Assembly
The type of work that you do each day will be dependent on what jobs we have in production, but could include anything from general food packaging, to labeling, heat sealing, and assembly of promotional kits for large conferences and events.
Here at Mt Druitt we service a broad spectrum of national and local clients, giving you the opportunity to work on an exciting mix of well-known retail brands including Vegeta, Patak’s and Bondi Chai.

Endeavour Foundation Industries, Mount Druitt is easily accessible with safe pick-up and drop off zones and is located at 59 Kurrajong Avenue, Mt Druitt. It is approximately 38 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and is easily accessible by either train (the site is a 10-15 walk from the Mt Druitt train station), or by bus.

You will be joining a fun, welcoming team, have the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends, with plenty of social events and activities along the way!
Supported employment gives you the opportunity to earn an income straight away while also providing ongoing training and skills development.

Eligibility
If you’re aged 15 years or over with an intellectual disability and looking for work in a commercial, yet fully supported environment – supported employment could be right for you.
To be considered for supported employment opportunities you will need the following:

An NDIS plan with funding for either:

Core - Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation -- Supports in Employment, Specialised Supported Employment OR

Capacity Building - Finding and Keeping a Job -- Supports in Employment, Specialised Supported Employment

The willingness/ability to work a minimum of 8 hours per week.

Work Experience
Transitioning to work is a big step for everyone. Our Work Experience Program is a great way to develop skills, make new friends and get job ready.
In partnership with your school, we’ll put together a tailored program. This means you’ll experience a range of work tasks, learn new skills and get job ready before you leave school. You’ll also be supported and guided by mentors and supervisors in a safe environment.
With us, you can:
- Gain experience in a real-life work environment
- Learn about team work and communication skills
- Build your confidence and self-esteem
- Meet new people and make new friends
- Develop your skills and learn new ones
- Work towards finding a job you love
At the end of the program, you’ll receive a Certificate of Achievement and a letter of work experience confirmation. If it’s what you want, you may even get a job with us.
