This year marks the launch of our very first AbiliTea Morning Tea, a special moment for our community.

It brings people together to embrace inclusion, enjoy good food, and connect with others in a welcoming space.

The event takes place on International Day of People with Disability, which makes it a meaningful time for all of us.

It also allows us time to reflect on 75 years of people, purpose, and progress.

As we look toward our 75th Anniversary in 2026, we honour our history and look ahead to a future where people with intellectual disability grow, connect, and thrive.

A Tradition Inspired by Our Beginnings

AbiliTea reflects how Endeavour Foundation first began.

Our story started with families and friends sitting together at kitchen tables. They wanted to support one another and create a better future for their loved ones.

These early gatherings were simple, warm and full of care, often sharing homemade cakes or slices that were typical of the 1950s.

Today, the morning tea continues with this spirit. It creates a place where people can sit together, talk and feel part of a welcoming community.

Sharing a plate can open the door to a friendly chat. A small moment of kindness can help someone feel included.

Date: Wednesday 3 December 2025
Time: 9.30am AEST and 10.30am AEDT
Location: Selected Learning and Lifestyle Hubs and Business Solutions sites across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. We’ve chosen a mix of locations to bring our teams and sites together wherever possible. Your local team will confirm your meeting point for the morning tea.

Some hubs will host the event on site, while others will visit nearby homes or services so more people can join.

Each hub will shape the morning in a way that suits its community.
