Depending on eligibility, employers may also be able to access wage subsidies, workplace modification funding and ongoing workplace support through the program. What Is Inclusive Employment Australia?

Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) is the Federal Government's disability employment program.

It supports eligible people with disability to prepare for work, find employment and receive support in the workplace. The program also helps employers connect with candidates and access support throughout the recruitment and employment journey.

As an IEA specialist provider for people with intellectual disability, Endeavour Foundation works alongside both employers and employees to help create successful and sustainable employment outcomes.

Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) is the Federal Government's disability employment program. It supports eligible people with disability to find and maintain work while helping employers recruit and retain employees.

There is no cost to access IEA recruitment and workplace support. Your business employs the person and pays their wages and usual employment costs. Wage subsidies or workplace modification funding may also be available for eligible placements.

For eligible placements, wage subsidies are generally paid as agreed employment milestones are met. Our team can explain the current requirements and support you with the agreement and paperwork.

No. Many employers are new to inclusive employment. We provide practical guidance and support throughout the recruitment and employment process.

Employers remain responsible for their recruitment and selection decisions and can determine whether a candidate is the right fit for their business.

We stay involved after employment begins and can work with you and the employee to address concerns early. Where the role is not the right fit, we can help both parties understand the next steps.

Not always. Some employees may benefit from workplace adjustments, which can often be simple. Funding for eligible workplace modifications may also be available.

IEA combines candidate matching with support before and after employment begins. This may include preparation, onboarding assistance, workplace coaching and ongoing check-ins for the employee and employer.
