NDIS in TAS

  • Trial site covers the entire state.
  • 1,000 participants, aged 15-24 years.
  • Full roll-out of the NDIS from July 2016 and by July 2019, all eligible Tasmania residents – approximately 10,500 people – will be covered

Children 12 – 14 years

Adults 25 – 28 years

1 July 2017

Children 4 – 11 years

1 January 2018

Adults 29 – 34 years

1 July 2018

Children 0 – 3 years, Adults 29 – 34 years

1 January 2019

Adults 50 – 64 years

Note: Eligible residents in shared supported accommodation will access the NDIS together on a house-by-house basis.
