Children, Youth & Family Services

In-home Support – Children & Youth

In-home support is provided by qualified Youth Development Officers with blue cards and experience in working with children and young people. It is provided within your own home and can be structured based on need (for example, during busy evenings or during the day).

In-home support can assist in balancing the running of a household with caring for a child or young person with a disability.

In-home support can be used as a respite service also, for when you need to attend appointments outside the home, or just need a break to sustain your caring role.

You will also have access to additional supports from Endeavour Foundation and our partners including:

  • Specialist Behaviour Support
  • Planning and Assessment supports

Residential Out-of-home Care

In some instances young people are unable to live in family-based care and require residential care and support.

Endeavour Foundation’s out of home care service provides 24/7 accommodation and living support to young people aged 12 and over. Our residential youth carers provide round the clock support in the community working with the young person to attend school or continue education through other means, interact socially and deliver a tailored support plan specifically to meet their needs.
