What is it?
The Endowment Challenge Fund is a capital-preserved fund from which interest earned will improve the lives of people with a disability. Its growth will be managed by a corporate trust comprising a majority of independent directors, setting an appropriate benchmark in corporate governance.
How will it work?
Donations to the fund will be 100% preserved with earnings used to:
- Fund special projects to increase social inclusion of people with a disability;
- Promote and fund research in disability to improve knowledge and understanding;
- Fund a Professorial Chair in disability at a leading University;
- Award scholarships for students stuyding disability;
- Fund not-for-profit and community organisations to widen their programs to include people with a disability;
What does it mean for me?
Donations to the fund are fully tax deductible. Donors will leave a legacy for future generations that will contribute to the economy and the community and, most importantly, support people with a disability to lead an ordinary life.
