Endeavour clients rally together

In the spirit of teamwork, adventure and personal growth which underpins Endeavour’s philosophy, three clients will take part in the famous Great Endeavour cross-country car rally in July 2009.

“Endeavour Together” team members John, Rodney and Allan are excited to be the first clients to take part in the Great Endeavour, which raises valuable funds for the Foundation.

This year, the rally will start in Mackay and traverse 5,000 kilometres of Queensland’s toughest country to the tip of Cape York before finishing on the group’s home turf of Townsville.

John, Rodney and Allan, who have been with Endeavour in Townsville for a total of 63 years, really feel part of the Endeavour family and can’t wait for the great adventure that awaits them.

They will be joined in the car by Endeavour staff Wendy Bull – whose father generously donated the brand new vehicle – and Sharon Rynne.

Their fellow clients will go along in spirit, having each left a permanent handprint in paint on the car.

Their mates have been an essential part of “Endeavour Together”, rallying family and friends to hold a sausage sizzle which raised $1,200 for the venture.
