Local man wins Maleny Prize Home!

Maleny resident Bob was taken aback when he found out he was our latest winner.

Now in his 80's, this accomplished scholar and author has been enjoying the quiet lifestyle of the Sunshine Coast hinterlands.

After sadly losing his wife last year, Bob has a lot to decide with the new residence, but with the help of his family, who also live in the Maleny area, Bob says he's "glad he won it - I am very happy as I can give my children some security, but I am sad my wife is not here to enjoy it".

Bob goes on to say that he didn't expect to win anything.

In fact, "I haven't won much, but I did win a Chook once."

Bob was a 'two ticket buyer' and it was in fact the second ticket that won. Plus by buying multiple tickets Bob also won a bonus $30,000 prize!
