Mark's job is a dream come true

Mark Trace has been accessing Endeavour residential services and Adult Training Support Services (ATSS) in Gladstone for over 11 years.

Just over a year ago, Mark achieved his ambition of gaining supported employment at the Endeavour Gladstone Business Service.

“At the ATSS I had a lot of fun, met new people and learned how to live by myself,” said Mark.  “But I also wanted to work so I could learn new things - and get paid!”

Endeavour staff understood and appreciated Mark’s burning ambition and worked with him to help him reach his goal.

“Every week for over a year the staff from the ATSS would assist me on work experience at Business Services.  Any spare moment I had was spent working towards my goal.  Staff set up activities for me that would help me gain employment at Business Services.  I had to have a test to see if I was accepted, I was very nervous… But guess what!  I passed the exam and have achieved my goal!”
