Corporate Volunteering is a great way to make a meaningful and enduring connection with Endeavour...as well as have a bit of fun!
Individual employees or groups of employees can take part in a wide range of simple projects from gardening and landscaping to painting and minor repairs. The amount of time you are able to give to a project is also completely up to you – whether it’s a couple of hours, a full day or a week.
How do companies benefit?
For a company, Corporate Volunteering is
at the forefront of any Social Responsibility Strategy. By enabling employees to actively participate in the community under the company’s banner, the organisation will benefit from tangible outcomes such as:
- Enhanced corporate reputation
- Increased employee morale and loyalty
- Improved teamwork and leadership skills
- More positive communication and interaction between employers, employees and the community
- A unique selling tool to help attract and retain quality staff
How do employees benefit?
Employees get the benefits from actually getting out and doing the hands-on work. Other positive factors include:
- The opportunity to share particular skills or pass on knowledge
- The ability to make a real and tangible contribution to Endeavour and the community at large
- Knowing that you’ve helped someone in some way
- Sharing a unique experience with workmates and new friends from Endeavour
