Slate is the perfect material for a fireplace hearth, as it's a durable natural stone, is easy to clean and looks great next to a burning fire. Our hearths are available in black and mottled/multicolour slate, plus traditional grey and terracotta ceramic. The hearths are great for limited spaces or where a flush-to-the-floor look is preferred.

Features:

  • Tasmanian Oak moulded edge
    • beveled to the floor, 35mm or 22mm or aluminium bronze angle finish
  • Strength and durability
    • construction grade adhesives, laminated fibre cement sheeting, bisketed joints
    • slate lacquered with external grade clear finish
  • Compensated for movement
    • fixed to base with rubber glue to compensate for movement prior to installation
  • Additives used in grout to prevent flaking
