Youth services
Opportunities for people with a disability
We support youth with a disability to:
- leave school confidently, with our Post-School Services program;
- continue education, with our LatchOn® and CLUE programs; and
- find a job through our Endeavour Foundation Industries or reSolutions Employment service.
Post-School Services
Our Post-School Services program lets young people with a disability prepare for a life after school. It also gives families tools to support the transition and plan for the future.
School leavers can use our program for:
- further education;
- life skills training;
- support to join the community; and
- making friendships.
The Post-School Services program lets you make your own personal program to suit your needs and meet your goals. It is flexible and can change as your needs change over the coming years. Get support from our highly qualified staff individually, as part of a group at our Learning & Lifestyle centres, in the community or a combination of all three. You can also use the funding to enrol in our Latch-On® and CLUE education programs.
You can get to know us before making a final decision by visiting us while you are still at school for a trial. Arrange a visit, and for more information, contact your local Area Office. Find your local Area Office now.
Education
Latch-On® is a tertiary education program designed to develop literacy, technology and life skills in young adults with an intellectual disability.
Continued Learning for Under 30s at Endeavour (CLUE) aims to foster independence, social skills, learning and development in young people with a disability.
Jobs
Endeavour Foundation Industries provides full-time and part-time supported employment, training, personal development and social opportunities.
reSolutions Employment helps people with a disability to find employment best suited to them within their community.
