Amber enjoys her holidays
Amber was just two when mum Noleine first took her to Endeavour’s Vacation Respite Care to get a much needed break for both of them.
This unique service allows children with a disability up to 18 years of age to learn and play with other children when school is out, as well as providing respite for families.
Noleine says she can’t keep Amber away from the service, especially now she has started to attend social activities like movies and BBQs with other children. It has certainly paid off, with Amber now in Prep at a State School and beginning Year 1 next year.
Both Noleine and Amber have some much-needed time to unwind.
For over 12 years, Endeavour has offered a range of services dedicated to improving the lives of children with a disability and their parents and carers.
