Nada finds happiness
The sparkle in Nada’s eyes tells you just how happy she is, but it wasn’t always like this.
Nada’s intellectual disability made her young life very tough, as did a difficult living situation. At 24, she couldn’t take any more and left home.
Endeavour Foundation gave her a stable place to live and a job at their Maroochydore business service where she learnt new skills and made new friends. She now gift wraps a locally-made beauty product, Nana May’s Magic Hands, which makes her feel valued – especially when she sees them in shops.
She has two passions – her husband Barry and tennis, in which she recently won a bronze medal at the Special Olympics.
