Disability services G8 summit

Endeavour has given Queenslanders with a disability a unified voice by bringing together the state’s eight largest non-government disability service organisations.

Member organisations are Endeavour Foundation, Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland, Lifeline Community Care, Centacare, Spinal Injuries Association, FSG Australia, Multicap and Life Without Barriers. G8 members share information and resources, work together to resolve common concerns and speak with a unified voice to government and the community on behalf of those with a disability who they support.

National Disability Insurance Scheme

We join a coalition of disability and community sector representatives to lobby the Australian Government for a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), to give Australians a no-fault insurance scheme for everyone who has, or acquires, a significant disability.

Comprehensive Health Assessment Program booklet

Endeavour clients helped trial Comprehensive Health Assessment Program (CHAP), in a partnership with the Queensland Centre for Intellectual & Developmental Disability and Professor Nicholas Lennox. The CHAP project is the single biggest body of research ever completed for people with a disability.

CHAP is recognised by the World Health Organisation (WHO), with Professor Lennox to author a chapter for the upcoming WHO ‘World Report on Disability and Rehabilitation’. More information on CHAP is available from the Queensland Centre for Intellectual & Developmental Disability.
