Volunteer van drivers needed to make a difference in Gladstone
Looking for an exciting and fulfilling new role as part of a friendly team while helping people at the same time? New to the area perhaps?
Endeavour Foundation is looking for volunteer van drivers to join the team at the Endeavour Recycled Clothing store in Gladstone (Auckland Street) to work a full day although even 3 or 4 hours a week will be an enormous help.
This is an opportunity to learn new skills, meet people, grow friendships and help to support people with a disability.
As times get tougher on the high street, Endeavour Recycled Clothing stores offer top quality items at low prices. In short, the stores recycle with style!
Volunteer van drivers are required to pick up all of these donated clothes from the big steel bins and take them to the store. It can be heavy work sometimes but it’s worth it!
The clothing donations are important to Endeavour Foundation and the volunteer drivers can expect to enjoy an interesting and varied role within the Endeavour Foundation community.
Voluntary work of up to 15 hours a week for the over 55s is permissible through Endeavour Foundation’s registration with Centrelink.
