Endeavour Foundation

The car will again see competition this year, with the Endeavour Foundation team gearing up to navigate outback Queensland from Charleville to the Gulf of Carpentaria and back to Yeppoon.

'Bombadier' will also get a make over and a new name to suit, although the name hasn't been decided on yet.    

QR Team member, Laurie Denman said they were always happy to support Endeavour Foundation.

"Our team has had a lot of fun on the Great Endeavour Rally and we were able to see much of our beautiful country,” Mr Denman said. 

It represents a significant donation to Endeavour Foundation, which uses the rally to raise money and awareness, to provide opportunities for over 3,350 people with a disability across Queensland and New South Wales.

 The donation is made even more significant as now Endeavour Foundation will have a team in what is the 25th anniversary of the Great Endeavour Rally.  Over its 25 year history, the rally has raised in excess of four million dollars for the organisation, making it the largest single fundraising event run by Endeavour Foundation.

The rally, which originated in Toowoomba in 1988 as a bicentennial celebration, has lead teams far and wide across Australia’s remote and regional areas.

With almost $50,000 already raised, Endeavour Foundation is confident that the public’s generosity will help it reach the $500,000 target.
