Queensland
Disability and Community Care Services is the Queensland State Department that looks after disability. It creates policies on disability, and provides services and programs for Queenslanders with a disability.
Disability Online is the Queensland Government’s first audience-specific website, written for people with disability, their families and carers about programs, services, supports and initiatives.
Curtis Pitt is the current Queensland Minister for Disabilities, Mental Health and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships.
New South Wales
Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) is part of the Department of Human Services NSW. Part of its responsibility is to support people with disabilities and their carers in NSW.
Peter Primrose is the current New South Wales Minister for Disability Services, Minister for Volunteering and Minister for Youth.
Australia
The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA is the Australian Government department that looks after disability at a national level.
Bill Shorten is the Parliamentary Secretary for Disabilities and Children's Services.
