Opportunities for people with a disability

We are concerned that parents of people with disability who are ageing are not having their needs met appropriately.  Many parents are ageing and still providing care at home for their child with a disability. Many people with disability living at home with their parents are also ageing. There is no co-ordinated government initiative for people with disability who are ageing to retire.

We would like to do something about this situation. We are gathering stories from families to support a number of advocacy initiatives we are undertaking. Personal stories about your experience are an essential tool for effective and successful advocacy strategy.
