Endeavour Foundation

With over 332 families in the region being support by Endeavour Foundation services, the construction of Toowoomba’s new Learning & Lifestyle service will help people with a disability to gain enhanced social support, provide development opportunities and to learn life skills through a range of activities. Toowoomba has a proud history of supporting people with a disability and now is the time to get behind this great cause and donate all you can. Learning & Lifestyle service progress

The Learning and Lifestyle service is a custom-built 2.25 million dollar project. The construction framework has been finished and with the roof on and lining the walls now underway; the reading rooms, the open plan kitchen and large dining area are starting to take shape.

Skill development and social activities

To enhance the independence, confidence, community involvement and life choices for people with a disability; activities focus on numeracy, reading, computer based skills, money handling and shopping, road safety, health and fitness, craft and other practical tasks.

Specialist facilities

The service has been custom-designed to cater for the needs of wide range of people with a disability, including such essential facilities as ramps to entries and exits and hand rails, along with modern technology including educational multimedia facilities.
