How to create an Endeavour Prize Home

It’s easy to take Endeavour Prize Homes for granted; they’re always stylish, immaculate, fabulous – and they always seem to be around!

According to Endeavour Lotteries Manager Wilma Burton, her team can create, market, and hand the keys to a winner in as little as five weeks.

“First we decide on the location,” said Wilma.  “We alternate between North (as far as the Sunshine Coast), South, Bay-side and Brisbane City.  This ensures as many of our regular supporters are kept as happy as possible.”

“Then we look for a home that meets our criteria; this includes price, access to community facilities, layout, whether it has the ‘feel’ and presentation potential for a Prize Home...  If the house is already established, will it need much work to bring it up to scratch – those types of things.”

The Endeavour Prize Home in Wishart was chosen for it’s spaciousness and architectural design, plus it’s proximity to the CBD and community facilities such as schools and universities, shopping centres and parks.

“Prize Home supporters have been responding very well to the Wishart Prize Home,” said Wilma.  “It’s a very family-friendly area and a terrific location as it is so close to everything.  It’s really popular with younger people and older people alike.  We’ll definitely be considering this area again in the future.”

Endeavour Prize Home ticket buyers are a diverse but loyal bunch, hailing from Queensland to New Zealand to overseas countries even further afield.

“We have all sorts of people buying tickets in our lotteries,” said Wilma.  “We’ve noticed recently that our long-running supporters’ children have started to purchase their own tickets.  The younger ones seem to like the townhouses and city residences, while the older ones still prefer Sunshine Coast and Bayside locations.”

“Because we need to cater for such a wide range of tastes, we pay a lot of attention to creating different interior design styles.  Our Production Manager, Stephanie McKellar, works closely with interior designers ‘Interior Motives’, and decides what the theme of the décor should be, based on the ‘feel’ of the house or the location.  For example, it could be exotic, or it might have a beach or tropical feel, it might be a country cottage, or as with the Wishart home, it could be more sophisticated and modern.”

Prize Homes are open for inspection every day from 10am to 5pm.  For more information, or to order tickets, call 1800 63 4040 or visit www.endeavourprizehomes.com.au
