Donating for recycling
Endeavour is very aware that recycling is playing a significant and increasing role in our society, which is why we have established a range of environmentally friendly recycling products and services. See below for an outline of the products and services available and contact us today to find out how we can provide a professional and first-rate service for your business.

Donations of furniture or household items
Our Retail Stores - Did you know that each of our Endeavour Recycled Clothing (ERC) stores gratefully accept clothing donations across the counter? In-store donations are an integral part of our clothing donation stream and by dropping your unwanted clothing & bric-a-brac items into our stores, you are helping to provide opportunities for Queenslanders with a disability. If you are short on time and need to drop goods off quickly, we have a white wheelie bin located at the front of each store, which provides an easy access point for donations.

Making a donationOur Donation Bins - If you have a couple of bags you’d like to drop off after hours, just look for one of our many Donation bins located throughout South East Queensland and place your items safely into these receptacles for our drivers to collect.  Please call
1800 11 72 47
to find your nearest Donation Bin location.

Home Pickups - If you are doing a spring clean and have a large amount of furniture, Bric-a-Brac, clothing or miscellaneous items
you’d like to donate, just contact us on 3205 8166 to see if this service is available in your area.

Donations of trading stock
Endeavour Foundation is registered with the Australian Taxation
Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and we are seeking opportunities to source end of line stock, seconds’ stock, returns stock, or any surplus stock, for our retail outlets. There are specific taxation advantages for companies, which are able to dispose of stock in this manner. A number of companies currently donate their returns/surplus goods to Endeavour and claim the allowable value through their tax return as a deductible gift.
Making a donation of clothes
The process for donating stock is outlined below:
  • The property needs to be donated to Endeavour.
  • At the date the property is donated, the manufacturers cost of trading stock (as determined by your company) of the stock can be claimed as a tax-deductible gift.
  • The claim is in essence, a cost retrieval exercise via a deductible gift to an appropriate charity thereby allowing you to free up space and funds for faster moving lines.
  • As with all taxation issues, please refer to a qualified taxation advisor and/or the ATO website: under Non-Profit Organisation/Donors and Gifts-Giftpack for deductible Gift recipients & donors.
For more information on how your company can take advantage of the tax benefits whilst donating to Endeavour, please call 3205 8166 or email:
White wheelie bins in your office
Endeavour is aiming to make life easier for you and your staff by providing white clothing collection bins in your workplace. Collection Bins are an environmentally friendly & convenient way of disposing of quality pre-loved clothing and donating it to a worthy not-for-profit organisation. So, if you are pressed for time and can’t make it to one of our bin sites, or if you’ve had a seasonal cleanout of your wardrobe, you can drop your clothing, accessories, shoes or book donations into the bin located in your workplace and it will be collected free of charge.
