Endeavour recognises its responsibility to maintain Corporate Governance practices that are robust, accountable and of a standard that meets the expectation of our stakeholders.
In response to recent legislative requirements mandating minimum Corporate Governance standards, Endeavour has moved to redefine its Corporate Governance framework to one which exceeds the minimum requirements of legislation, is responsive to the growing expectation within society for high standards of service delivery within the disability service sector, embraces integrity in decision making and in general, demonstrates good corporate practice.
The Endeavour Board and senior management are committed to implementing high standards of Corporate Governance practice, and will continue to work towards attainment of these standards within Endeavour, as enshrined within the Governance Statement and Governance Framework.
Key Governance Policies/Statements
The platform of good Corporate Governance at Endeavour, is an effective, accountable and ethical decision making process that is focused on the pursuit of our corporate objectives, as defined in the Endeavour Constitution and the Endeavour Strategic Plan.
Our decision making processes are taken in a cultural environment that is ethically sound but competitive; guided by Policies and Procedures that are forward looking, accountable, transparent, and that comply with the requirements of all regulatory authorities. Our Policies and Procedures embrace ongoing review, process improvement and simply good corporate practice.
The Endeavour Board and Management balance competing priorities and limited resources, in a manner that achieves best possible performance outcomes across all activities of the organisation.
Our actions, plans and decisions reflect that we are a good corporate citizen and that we are responsive to the opinions and needs of our stakeholders.

Internal Audit
Mission: The mission of the Endeavour Foundation’s Internal Audit function is to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the organization’s operation.
Scope: Internal Audit assists the organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes across all areas of the organisation.
Authority and reporting line: The Endeavour Internal Audit Charter establishes the role, authority and responsibilities of Internal Audit.
- It is the policy of Endeavour Foundation that all audit activities remain free from influence, and is seen to be independent.
- The Internal Auditor reports through the Chief Executive Officer and has direct access to the Audit, Finance and Asset Committee of the Board.
- Through the Chairman of the Board and CEO, authorization is delegated to the Internal Auditor to request full, free, unrestricted and complete access to all records (manual, automated and electronic), physical property and personnel of Endeavour in pursuit of the Internal Audit function.
